They might have chosen engineering as their profession, but working for a good cause is their passion. On the occasion of No Plastic Day this Sunday, engineering students of a premier university, who have formed a group called Kuch Adhure Sapne Hamare (KASH), enacted a street play to create awareness about the need to avoid plastic.

Gone are the days
Sunday was funday. Waking up late, playing cricket with friends , watching ” Mahabharat” on TV and eating delicious mutton curry prepared by mom — my Sundays were made of all these good things. During my childhood, there were hardly any television sets in our locality. So, everyone gathered at my residence to watch the serials. This community TV watching was so much fun.
Present Tense
Since I’m an actor, there’s no Sunday for me. I’d say, no shooting means a Sunday. But, we still have the rule in the industry of getting the second Sundays off in a month. Those days come as a blessing. Then we usually have large family get-togethers at home. Though the bashes are noisy, it’s great fun to attend them.

Report by Ananta Prasad; Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Akash Das Nayak who turned 29 on Monday, celebrated his birthday with students of Bhima Bhoi School for Blind in Bhubaneswar. Actor Akash along with his wife Shreya celebrated his birthday with blind schoolchildren in Bhubaneswar.
It should be noted that last year, Akash had chosen to celebrate his birthday with kids of an orphanage in the city. students of Bhima Bhoi School for Blind dance with joy after the arrival of Akash in their campus. The students surrounded Akash and sang songs from his films.
